WINSLOW ARCHITECTS INC. (WAI) is so pleased to announce the birth of our first baby, the return of a former colleague, and a registration achievement of our teammate!
Wonderful WAI Project Manager Eva Lejosne gave birth to a healthy baby girl on January 12 – right on schedule (as always with Eva). All are doing well and they returned home to begin their new life together. We understand that not a lot of sleeping is going on but that Eva and her husband Jed are over the moon with happiness.
Eva will be on maternity leave for three months and plans on returning to WAI in April.
We are also pleased to announce the return of Phil Reville to our staff. Phil will be a Senior Project Manager at WAI as well working directly with WAI President John Winslow to oversee operations of WAI. Phil worked with WAI for four years 2015 – 2019 and graduated from The Boston Architectural College with highest honors – awarded the prestigious SBA Award as the top BAC student for that year. Phil grew quickly into the role of Project Manager and displayed unusual architectural and management skills for a young aspiring architect. WAI recognized those talents and did its best to hold onto Phil. After leaving WAI for a year to experience other types of architectural work, Phil has decided to return to WAI and our pursuit of distinguished single and multifamily design. We are thrilled that he has returned and he is actively managing many of our exciting new developments as well as providing guidance in the management of our company.
Lastly, we are happy to announce that its staff member Tej Vashee has taken and passed the Architectural Registration exam and is now a Registered Architect and a new member of the AIA! Tej has been with WAI for 7 years from 2013 to the present. His journey has been an interesting and unique one. Born and raised in Zambia, Africa, Tej attended university in Zambia and then went to Auburn University in Alabama to obtain his Master of Architecture degree. He came to WAI in 2013 with little office experience but has been steadily expanding his experience base ever since he arrived – starting out as a junior draftsman but now managing most all of WAI’s work with DHCD under the “House Doctor Program. We are happy and proud of Tej and his achievements and congratulate him on receipt of the Architectural License.
