WINSLOW ARCHITECTS INC. (WAI) was recently selected by the Town of Halifax to design an addition to an historic local building currently used as the Town’s Senior Center. The building – known as Pope’s Tavern – will also be renovated as part of the project to provide a new and expanded senior center for the Town. The project is currently under design – with an addition designed that reflects its historical context for the exterior while providing larger and more open spaces on the interior and a layout that allows for future expansion.
