DESIGN CHALLENGE
Design a new retail candy store in a narrow storefront space in a new urban mall.
DESIGN APPROACH
Our approach to the design of the candy store was to use bright colors, objects and shapes to help create a childlike fantasy land, using mirrors above the candy shelving to create a sense of enlarged space. We designed a kiosk-like marquis above the check-out counter with large lettering and images to create a movie theater atmosphere and relating to the connection between movie going and candy.
