During my first year at the Boston Architectural College, I was asked through the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMAS) club to be a panelist for the Grad Student Panel & Mingle 2023 (now called Boston T Talks). Meeting with other architecture students from around the Boston area was amazing.

Maiya Samuel began at Winslow during her final year at Boston Architectural College. She has worked in residential architecture since 2022 while living in her hometown of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. She draws floorplans, writes proposals, and helps to keep our office running smoothly. She enjoys working in affordable housing. She organizes resident meetings to discuss design changes and is passionate about integrating community needs into her work.
